 Airi Suzuki Airi Suzuki was born in Tokyo, Japan. At the age of 15, she started dancing. In 2001, she moved to California, U.S.A where she went to Diablo Valley College. After the graduation, she moved to New York and attended Limon Institute and Peridance Center to study modern dance and ballet. While she was in the schools in NY, she started working as a dancer with some companies and choreographers such as Alan Danielson from Limon Dance Compnay and Natalie Desh from Doug Verone & Dancers. After living in the U.S.A for six years, she moved back to Japan and studied Butoh intensively with Sankai Juku and Kazuo Ono. She also teaches her own class, "Body Treatment Class" which is based on Pilates, Gyrotonic and Feldenkrais in New York and Tokyo. |
